Doctors: Two residents join every year, thus six residents
doctors exist at a time for three year course 1st, 2nd and 3rd
year.

PATIENT
CARE STATISTICS:
Patients Care include OPD
and Indoor. More than 1000 patient attend OPD every month and
75 – 100 patient get admission. TB Patients get good care of
free microscopy and DOT Catn under 15 R.N.T.C.P. All admitted
patients get good emergency care and avail Lung functia test,
ABG, Bronchoscopy etc. Skin test and immunotherapy is also
done for allergic patients.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES ORGANISED:
Regular CMH
every month is organised along with Allahabad Chest
Association since Nov. 2006. One Journal ‘ACA’ also
published quarterly.

Achievements:
Two
M.D. students appear every year. Interns get training. RNTCP
is giving benefit to Pulmonary and extra pulmonary tuberculosis
patients.

NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THE DEPARTMENT:
1. Skin test
for attoryicpt (Bronchial Asthama)
2.
Bronchoscopy for admitted patients.
3.
Tuberculosis patients get free treatment and sputum
examination
under R.N.T.C.P.

Thoracoscopy

Sleep lab. Etc.
4.
A new isolated ward required for
MDRTB and HIV patients

Important:
Paramedical
staff and office clerk should also be provided for proper
function of the Department.
Considering the incapacity of the tuberculosis patients and
those having respiratory diseases, TB and Chest OPD and RNTCP
(Microscope and DOTs) room should be ideally also provided on
the Ground Floor or if possible be shifted to the Ground
Floor.
