The department has all facilities of undergraduate and post graduate (MD) training, viz. experimental, pharmacy, clinical and PG research lab. This is the only department of UP which introduced clinical pharmacology exercises for the first time and is running successfully from two consecutive years.

Over 200 papers had been published in various national and international journals since initiation of the department till date. Dr. Chaurasia the HOD presented a paper in international conference and five papers were published in national journals.
