The department includes Professor laboratoy, PG research laboratory, a large dissection hall for 200 students, a dark room, a seminar room with audio-visual teaching facility, separate rooms for tutorials and one of the best museums in UP. The museum is equipped with more than 500 specimens including models and wet dissected specimens. The department has got its own mortuary and has a unique system of embalming the cadavers under pressure by a special apparatus housed in mortuary. The department has a library with more than 200 books.

The department aims to strengthen the faculty in future and also aims to upgrade the infrastructure including the histology laboratory and facilities for dissection.
