National
Conference of Anatomical Society of India was organised in
1971, by this department.
Ø
U.P.
Chapter Conference of Anatomical Society of India was
organised in 1985, by this department.

Achievements:
As
yet about 22 M.S. (anatomy) have been produced by this
department. research work on histological study of human
arteries done in this department has been recognised at
national and international level.

NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THE DEPARTMENT:
Studies
are being carried out regarding tumica medial structures of
human arteries situated in thorax, bdomen, upper limbs, lower
limbs, head, neck and brain.

FUTURE ENDEAVORS:
Ø
Coronary arterial
patterns are being co related with coronary Heart disease
Ø
Anatomy of
arteries related to systemic blood circulation is being
compared with anatomy of arteries related to pulmonary blood
circulation.
