35 thesis as chief guide and co guide. Has performed more than
10000 laparoscopic sterilization operation in various camps in
the state of U.P.
He was coordinator of S.I.P.F.S.A programme for training of
medical officers in contraceptive technology, at M.L.N.

M.Sc. Statistics
(Gold Medalist), PhD (Statistics) from Kanpur University. Twenty
eight years teaching experience in State
Medical Colleges as Lecturer, Assistant Professor. Published
Forty one Research papers ( 4 in International journals and 37
in various National journals). Research project for PhD is
“Some contribution to the development of the Regression
Models and Application to Medical Sciences”. Guided more
than 80 thesis as Co-Guide. Wrote a book entitled “Medical
Statistics and Demography”, will be published by Jaypee
Medical Publisher, New Delhi in 2007. Done training on
“EC-1045 and Statistical Processing”

Malviya:-
M.D. (Anesthesia)
from University of Allahabad, has 15 years teaching experience
as assistant professor and associate professor. Besides he has
invaluable experience of working in provincial medical
services. He has published more than 10 research papers, in
addition to guiding post graduate students in their thesis
work. He is regularly conducting Rural Mass tubectomy camps,
and has unique and valuable experience of imparting anesthesia
in rural area with its own peculiar problems.

PATIENT CARE STATISTICS:
Post
Partum Programme at S.R.N. Hospital, Allahabad is a type
“A” teaching center that is providing yeomen services to
its catchments area of 72,000 populations. During past one year
it has carried out 1156 sterilization female and male
operations, carried out 764 institutional and 170 home
deliveries, provided antenatal services to 511 women, 411
women were provided tetanus immunizations and 481 women
received the benefit of iron-folic acid supplementation.
One thousand three
hundred and fifty one children received B.C.G vaccination at
this center, whereas the corresponding figures for O.P.V,
D.P.T
and measles vaccination I (5 years) was done on 460 children
and T.T vaccination for 10 years age and 16 years age were
carried out on 827 and 125 children respectively. A total of
2058 children were given vitamin A doses in three phases.
Three hundred two
Cu-T insertions were at this center in previous year. A total
of 60,000 pieces of condom were distributed and 7320 cycles of
oral pills protection was provided in previous year.
